“Jack’s Story” is an amazing account of Jack Wilson, a tank commander in World War II, told through the letters he wrote and the research conducted by his son. Jack was a courageous leader who faced the brutalities of ground warfare against Nazi Germany during some of the most famous battles of the war.

His letters reveal both the horrific choices he faced as a young commander and his tenderness and longing to return to his loving wife. As the daughter of a WWII pilot, I deeply admire the bravery of the young soldiers who fought in this war.
