“Telling the Stories That History Forgot — With a Wink, a Tear, and a Truth That Stays With You”
We’re John and Janice — writers, wanderers, and memory keepers.
Through our books, blog, podcast, and videos, we bring history to life with unforgettable characters, deep emotion, and the kind of storytelling that stays with you. Whether it’s a soldier’s letter from the front or a quiet moment on the road, we tell the stories that deserve to be remembered.

About J Wilson Books
At J Wilson Books, we believe history should feel personal. Our books are built on letters, memories, and the kinds of stories that bring the past to life — with heart, detail, and a little humor too.
Whether it’s a WWII tank commander writing home or a quiet moment remembered years later, we share the voices and experiences that deserve to be passed on. From veteran stories to family legacies, we write to preserve the truth of lives well lived.
It’s all part of our larger story — told through travel, legacy, and the lives we’ve loved — and shared simply as John and Janice.
